What does it cost to build a custom home in Lubbock?
Prices vary greatly based on the price of the lot, choice of materials, and the size of the house.

We can build on existing land/ lot you own, Truitt Construction lots, or we can find the perfect lot together.

No project is too big or too small. We have built starter homes in the 1200-1500 sqft. range up to an 8500 sqft. home in Amherst, TX and a beautiful 7400 sqft home in the Rush neighborhood of Lubbock.
How long does it take to build a custom home in Lubbock?
Expect an 8-12 month building process, depending on the size of the home and complexity of the project.

Many clients add on pools, shops, and complete landscaping, which can add beauty and value to your home.

We build traditional homes, modern homes, soft customs, specs, and full custom homes. We also offer remodeling and construction services.

What is the best place to build in Lubbock?
There are many great neighborhoods in Lubbock and the surrounding areas. If you desire a smaller town vibe, Shallowater, Abernathy, Idalou, Ropes, Amherst, New Home and many others offer great school districts and growing rooftops.
In Lubbock proper, there are new subdivisions springing up in several places. South Lubbock has seen unprecedented growth in the last decade, but now North/West Lubbock has Burgamy Park, Uptown West, Bushland Springs and others.

What subdivisions does Truitt Garland Custom Homes have access to?
Historically, we have built many of our homes in Shallowater, but over the last 10 years, we have expanded to the full 100 mile radius of Lubbock: Amherst, Sudan, Littlefield, etc...
We can reach out to developers to acquire existing lots wherever you are interested. Although we cannot guarantee what is available, we will work to negotiate on your behalf.
We can also build on land you currently own.
What supplier do you use for materials such as flooring, tile, appliances? Can we add on a pool?
We work with multiple places in Lubbock to get the very best materials. We are flexible if you have certain materials, stores, or specific appliances in mind.
